Staff

The Staff Module in Nettware’s HR platform provides a central location for managing all employee-related information. It gives HR teams, managers, and authorized users a structured and comprehensive view of staff profiles, from contract details to leave tracking and compliance qualifications.

Staff Profiles

Each employee has a dedicated profile containing key employment and operational data, including:

  • Contract Type – Permanent, temporary, freelance, or other

  • Position / Job Role – Current title or operational role within the organization

  • Start Date – Date the employee officially began their role

  • Probation Period – Duration and status of the probation (if applicable)

  • Holiday Allowance – Annual leave entitlement with real-time tracking of usage and balance

  • Purchasing Thresholds – If applicable, defines the monetary limit staff are authorized to approve or spend on purchases

Leave Management

The module includes built-in tools to manage:

  • Annual leave requests and approvals

  • Sick leave, parental leave, unpaid leave, and other absence types

  • Automated leave balances and calendar views for team planning

  • Notifications and approval flows for managers

Compliance & Training Records

Track staff certifications, mandatory training, and compliance requirements:

  • Store expiry dates, renewal alerts, and training history

  • Attach digital documents or certificates

  • Ensure your workforce meets regulatory and internal compliance standards

Permissions & Access

  • Role-based permissions control which users can view or manage staff records

  • Sensitive data (e.g., contracts, thresholds) is accessible only to authorized roles
