The Inventory Items feature in the Nettware platform provides a centralised database where the organisation can manage and maintain a structured list of products, services, asset types, and compliance documents. This database supports consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across sales, purchasing, and operations.

Types of Inventory

The Inventory database can include various item types such as:

• Predefined services (e.g., hourly labor, maintenance packages)

• Products (e.g., parts, equipment, goods for resale)

• Asset types (e.g., machinery, vehicles)

• Compliance documents (e.g., certifications, licenses)

Key Item Details

Each inventory item can be configured with the following information:

• Category – Organize items into logical groups for easier navigation and filtering

• Description – Provide detailed information about the item or service

• Images – Upload one or more images for visual reference or client-facing documentation

• Cost Price – Internal purchase or manufacturing cost

• Sales Price – Standard or tiered selling price used in quotes and invoices

• Additional fields include unit of measure, code, stock levels, brand and more
