Labels

Labels in the Nettware platform are predefined, customisable tags that help you categorise and filter documents more efficiently. They provide an additional layer of organisation, enabling tailored workflows and faster data retrieval.

What are Labels

Labels are custom tags that can be attached to any type of document, such as Clients, Properties, Sales Invoices, Purchase Orders, Work Orders, Quotations and more.

They are especially useful for adding contextual or operational classifications (e.g., "Urgent", "Reviewed", "Q2 Campaign", "Backorder", etc.)

Customising Labels

The labels editor and filtering functionality is part of the filters section on every Browse screen in the platform - create with color codes to make them more visually identifiable.

Labels can reflect business processes, team workflows, or project stages — giving your team quick visual cues and enhanced filtering capabilities.

Labels are not user specific - same labels will be applicable for all users of the same module.

Using Labels

  • Add Labels from filters section on documents Browse screen and assign on same or Edit screens.

  • Remove Labels at any time with just a clicks. Please note, deleting a label will also remove it from all associated elements.

  • Use the labels filter on Browse screens and search by one or multiple labels - locate relevant content based on custom criteria.

  • Labels are also taken in consideration when exporting data from Browse screens.
