Quotations

The Quotations module in the Nettware platform is designed to help businesses create detailed, professional, and accurate quotations, broken down by trades, property sections and inventory items. This module seamlessly integrates with the Nettware Surveys module, allowing users to generate quotations directly from collected survey data for maximum efficiency.

Creating a New Quotation

• Manually
  Select client and property by searching for one them and manually enter the required details, including quotation title and project description.

• From Survey
  If a Nettware Survey has been completed for the property, you can import all relevant data (measurements, photos, inventory, etc.) directly into the quotation. This reduces manual entry, minimizes errors, and ensures all details are up-to-date.

Quotation Structure

• Breakdown by Trade:
  Add line items for each relevant trade (e.g., flooring, painting & decorating, building, plumbing, electrical). Each trade can be itemised with its own scope, pricing, and notes.

• Property Sections / Areas:
  Organise the quotation by specific property areas (e.g., kitchen, living room, bathroom), assigning relevant trades and inventory to each area for clarity.

• Inventory Items:
  Include detailed inventory items such as materials, fixtures, and labor units. Each item can have its own quantity, unit cost, and total price.

Customization and Professionalism

• Branding: Quotations comes customised with the organisations logo, branding and tailored terms to present a professional image.

• Attachments: Add supporting documents, photos, or videos from the survey to provide visual context and transparency.

Automated Features

• Templates: Use or print templates for common appendixes and annexes to your quotations.

• Version Control: Auto-referencing allows easily to track changes through Quotations History of all modifications to ensure accuracy and transparency throughout the quoting process.

Preview & Send

• Preview:
  Review the entire quotation for accuracy, completeness, and professionalism.

• Send to Client:
  Email the quotation directly to the client from within Nettware or export as a PDF for external sharing.

Links with Other Modules

• Purchasing and Accounting:
  Once a quotation is accepted, easily convert it into a work order or integrate with Nettware’s purchasing and accounting modules for seamless workflow management.
